Hey sis… Firstly, if you are expecting self love mantras sprinkled into the crevices of a getaway where we get naked and embed our eros into the land while howling at the moon, you’re on the wrong landing page… This is not it. Awaken Phoenix is not a typical retreat for women and although I have a large love and respect for this kind of feminine exploration, we have edgier work to do together. This is a summons for our fellow oracles, healers, witches, weavers and wisdom keepers Around our fire we will be intoxicated by conversations that would make any other environment squirm Our allegiance is shared with advanced civilizations of the sky, the womb protectors of the earth, the current of the seas and of course, each other. This is not a retreat to seek approval. This is a place for the recollection of your moves yet to be made This is where the performance ends while the exhale of honesty begins You already know because there is something you came here carrying in your DNA Something that didn’t begin with you, that may not even belong entirely to this lifetime but for this era A knowing that has been tapping at the inside of your ribs, a lonely conversation you keep having with yourself…in the solo car rides or walks down the beach A vision you haven’t been able to explain, A body of work that needs to be acknowledged A way of living that doesn’t fit neatly inside the structures available to you but makes complete sens to YOU Perhaps you have spent years becoming very good at being understood by a world that was never designed to understand the entirety of you.  Perhaps you have learned when to speak. When to soften When to make yourself palatable To not be strange to the environment around you When to call your knowing intuition instead of truth When to keep the fire contained Awaken Phoenix is not about containing her anymore It is about RECLAIMING what happens when you stop negotiating with the part of yourself that already knows

There is nothing wrong with you that needs to be repaired before you arrive We are not gathering to excavate every wound and spend five days making our pain the centre of the room There is a time for that work and respectfully, you’re way past that now… This is about the wisdom that is available because you lived it. The lessons that only arrive through experience The things you know because you have walked through the fire yourself The things your body knows before your mouth can articulate them The medicine existing in your very own existence babe

This is ceremony This is fire This is silence There will be laughter that makes your belly hurt. Moments that crack your heart wide open There will be things spoken around the fire that perhaps you have never had a place safe enough to say aloud There will be women whose paths may look nothing like yours and yet something in them will feel immediately familiar Because this isn’t about same sameness It is about recognition The recognition of another woman who has also heard the call Another woman who knows there is more Another woman who has stopped asking the world to validate what her soul already understands And somewhere in that circle, perhaps you will remember something about yourself that you had forgotten you knew and are ready to expose
